About Camrose Consulting
Since 2004 Camrose Consulting has carried out financial management and project work for small and medium sized businesses.
Assignments usually require a combination of hands on involvement and high level experience and have included:
- helping a traffic equipment business through restructuring, turnaround and exit; driving a significant improvement in cash management.
- various financial due diligence assignments, including businesses in the media, recruitment and leisure sectors.
- mentoring a bookkeeper in a construction business.
- helping an engineering business manage some difficult cash flow issues.
- year end support, including businesses in the professional services sectors.
- resolving issues in a consumer goods business following an accounting breakdown.
- investigation into cash leakage at a business providing subcontract labourers.
Our services are provided by David Lewis who qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. From 1987 until early 2004 he held partner/director positions in medium sized accountancy firms with clients ranging from SMEs through to a FTSE group. His experience included:
- acquisitions and disposals.
- resolving problems with accounting processes.
- business plans for fund raising.
- heading an outsourced internal audit department of a FTSE 250 company.
- involvement in practice management and staff training and development.
Whilst able to quickly get to grips with most business sectors, David has a particular interest in "old economy" businesses such as manufacturing, wholesale and distribution.
